Flash Q/Ard! - Steve Whitlow iPhone App Looking for an iPhone App Developer ?  Flash Q/Ard! is a simple, intuitive flash card application for the iPhone and iTouch. Flash Q/Ard! is unique among the flashcard apps in the way it utilizes the simple iPhone interface; swipe, tap and shake your way through your material. Create flashqards with any basic text editor, you can use TextEdit, Notepad, Word, even your email program. Organize all of your questions and answers by category, reference them (optional), and save as a text document. Upload that document to our server (requires a free account) and turn your iPhone into an elegant, highly functional stack of flashcards. Your qard sets can be shared or kept private. The only thing missing is the rubber band! Create, Study, Excel. Users have been adding a ton of interesting material. So far we have Q/Ard! sets for pilots, including limitations and study guides for a variety of airlines and aircraft, including; Bombardier CRJ-200, CRJ-700, CRJ-900, and Dash-8 aircraft, Embraer EMB-135, EMB-140, EMB-145, and EMB-170 aircraft. Medical students have been uploading files for the USMLE exams with sets like; Digestive System General, Microbiology, Cranial Nerve Assessment, Anatomy 1, 2 and 3, USMLE Step I - Most Common Associations, USMLE Step I - Classic Findings. Other have shared Q/Ard! sets related to Navy Diving, Political Science, English and Sports History. The first update is in the works with some minor tweaks including; font preferences, the removal of the Notification Icon – Red Circle, addition of Flag and Delete icons to answer qard, study mode reversal where answers are displayed first testing your ability to come up with the question and a few other minor performance tweaks. Further out we are planning two additional updates to add features like Custom Categories within the app and multi-user mode. A free, ad supported version is being discussed as well. The website is being updated to allows users to edit qards and qard sets. Users will be able to add, edit and delete individual qards as well as the qard set information itself. |
